Colombia earthquake response

A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck western Colombia causing widespread damage and loss of life. Search and rescue operations were initiated as the scale of the disaster became clear. The United Nations has been involved in coordinating international aid and assessing the recovery needs following the event.
