TERMS OF SERVICE
videonewslive.com (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Acentro Systems LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Please read Section 11 carefully. It contains an agreement to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration instead of in court, and a waiver of class actions. You may opt out within 30 days as described there.
1. What the Site is
The Site is a news aggregator. We index publicly available video news published on third-party platforms, primarily YouTube, and present titles, thumbnails, short excerpts, source attribution, links, and embedded players alongside AI-generated summaries and editorial classifications that we produce.
We do not host the videos. Playback happens through the publisher’s own embedded player, subject to that platform’s terms.
2. Accounts and the newsletter
Reader accounts are not required. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you agree to provide an accurate email address that you control. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter. If you hold a staff account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account, and you agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Access to the Site
License. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Restrictions. You may not: scrape, crawl, or harvest the Site or use automated means to access it, except that well-behaved search engine crawlers may access the Site consistent with our robots.txt; copy or redistribute substantial portions of the Site’s content, including our summaries, rankings, and classifications, as a competing product or dataset; use the Site or its content to train machine learning models; circumvent rate limits or security measures; interfere with the Site’s operation; or use the Site in violation of any law or third-party right.
Changes to the Site. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We have no obligation to provide support or maintenance.
Ownership. The Site’s design, code, editorial classifications, rankings, and AI-generated summaries are owned by Company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and video content belong to their respective publishers.
Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.
4. Third-party content and platforms
The Site uses YouTube API Services. By using the Site, you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and information Google collects through embedded players and thumbnails is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Third-party content, including video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and the videos themselves, is the responsibility of whoever published it. We do not endorse it, we do not verify it, and we are not responsible for it. Inclusion of a channel or a video on the Site is not an endorsement of that publisher or of anything it says.
5. AI-generated content and editorial classifications
Summaries, relevance scores, topic tags, content-type labels, and leaning ratings on the Site are produced in part by automated systems, including large language models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, and they may misstate what a video actually says. They are provided for convenience only.
Leaning ratings and authority weights are our editorial opinion about presentation and sourcing practices. They are not statements of fact about any publisher and should not be read as accusations of bias, dishonesty, or misconduct.
Always watch the underlying video before relying on anything on the Site.
6. No professional advice
Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice. The Site covers markets, earnings, and macroeconomic news, and none of that coverage is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or other asset. Do not act on it without consulting a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on content you find here.
7. Copyright and removal requests
We index and display third-party material in a manner we believe is permitted by law, including fair use and the platform APIs we use. If you are a copyright owner or their agent and believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to our designated agent at Acentro Systems LLC, support@videonewslive.com, including:
- your physical or electronic signature
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- identification of the material you want removed, and where it is on the Site
- your contact information
- a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
We will respond to valid notices, and we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Publishers: if you publish a channel we index and want it removed from the Site, email support@videonewslive.com from an address associated with the channel and we will remove it.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Company and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims and reasonable costs, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
9. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT, SUMMARY, RANKING, OR CLASSIFICATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, TIMELY, OR RELIABLE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) COMPANY AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY; AND (B) COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
11. Dispute resolution and binding arbitration
Applicability. Except for claims that qualify for small claims court and claims seeking injunctive relief for intellectual property infringement, you and Company agree to resolve all disputes arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms through binding individual arbitration.
Try to resolve first. Before starting arbitration, the party raising the dispute must send written notice describing the dispute and the relief sought, and the parties must try in good faith to resolve it for 60 days.
Rules. Arbitration will be administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules for claims under $250,000 and its Comprehensive Rules otherwise. The arbitration will take place in Warren County, Pennsylvania or by videoconference, and the arbitrator’s decision may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL. BY AGREEING TO ARBITRATION, YOU AND COMPANY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JUDGE OR JURY.
WAIVER OF CLASS ACTIONS. ALL DISPUTES MUST BE BROUGHT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. NEITHER YOU NOR COMPANY MAY BRING CLAIMS AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE, OR COLLECTIVE PROCEEDING.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this Section 11 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to support@videonewslive.com or to 309 Jamestown St., Sugar Grove, PA 16350. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.
Severability. If any part of this Section 11 is found invalid, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the rest remains in effect.
12. Term and termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Site. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Sections 3 (Ownership and Feedback), 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. General
Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Site or, if we have your email address, notify you by email. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing law. These Terms and any dispute relating to them or to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Subject to Section 11, the state and federal courts located in Warren County, Pennsylvania have exclusive jurisdiction.
Privacy. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Electronic communications. By using the Site, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically, and you agree that they satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
Accessibility. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If you have trouble using the Site, contact us at support@videonewslive.com.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Company regarding the Site. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
