Russian drone hits train near Ukraine-Poland border shortly after European officials passed through
A Russian drone struck a train line near the Ukraine-Poland border shortly after a group of European officials, including former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former CIA Director David Petraeus, had traveled on it. While the officials were not in immediate danger and their train was not directly hit, the incident forced some to evacuate and underscored the ongoing conflict. Russia launched over 800 drones over the weekend, more than double the rate seen since early July.
