Widow shares story of FBI agent who died of cancer after 9/11

Sandy Hess, widow of FBI agent Jack Hess, shared his story of dying from stage four kidney cancer, which she believes was a result of his exposure to hazardous debris at the Pentagon on 9/11. Jack Hess worked at Ground Zero for over a week and later in counterterrorism before retiring and developing cancer in 2017. The FBI reports that over 400 personnel have developed 9/11-related illnesses, with at least 33 dying from related cancers.
