Moment of silence held at 9/11 Memorial marking time the South Tower was hit

These annual ceremonies serve to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks and remember the events of that day, while also acknowledging the long-term health consequences for survivors and first responders.

The event included readings of victims' names and will feature seven moments of silence, including one new commemoration for those who died from 9/11-related illnesses. Vice President J.D. Vance, former Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden are attending the Ground Zero ceremony.
