1st moment of silence held to mark 1st crash at World Trade Center
A moment of silence was observed at 8:46 a.m. at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum ceremony, marking the exact time American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center 25 years prior.
The observance commemorates the anniversary of the first attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and honors the victims.
