NASA Launches The Roman Space Telescope: Earth's New Orbiting Observatory
NASA and SpaceX successfully launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on a Falcon Heavy rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The telescope, named after NASA's first chief astronomer, is designed to produce images from deep space 100 times larger than the Hubble Space Telescope and will orbit at the second Lagrange point (L2).
