NASA has launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, named after the pioneering American astronomer. The telescope, aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, is designed to observe the universe's invisible parts and is capable of surveying the sky over a thousand times faster than the Hubble telescope. It is expected to conduct a census of exoplanets and may challenge current models of the universe.

WHY IT MATTERS

This powerful new telescope's observations could revolutionize our understanding of exoplanets and the fundamental nature of the universe, potentially leading to new scientific paradigms.
