Beijing looks at curbing overseas access to its top AI models, sources say

Chinese authorities have recently met with leading domestic tech firms to discuss potentially restricting overseas access to the country's most advanced artificial intelligence models, including those not yet released. Three sources familiar with the discussions confirmed the meetings.
